Alternative Work Schedule

This policy and procedures statement establishes the Alternative Work Schedule (AWS) policy for the Center.

CALL-Back Overtime Policy

The purpose of this policy is to establish the call-back overtime policy and procedures for the Center.

Career Enhancement Program

The Career Enhancement Program (CEP) is a program designed to help CIT employees in their career growth, and to meet our stated EEO objectives by providing opportunities for employees to receive on-the-job training in technical or professional positions.

Computer Security

This policy and procedures statement establishes the responsibilities of CIT staff in responding to and reporting computer security problems.

CIT Director's Award

The CIT Director's Award is a special honor award granted to employees who have provided outstanding service to the Center.

The Federal regulations concerning employment of relatives provide that public officials may not advocate a relative's appointment, employment, promotion, or advancement anywhere in the official's own organization (NIH) or in an agency (CIT) over which the official exercises jurisdiction or control.

Leave Administration

This issuance describes and explains the various kinds of leave in the Federal service and explains the policy and procedures concerning leave for CIT employees.

This policy and procedures statement establishes the overtime and compensatory time policy for the Center.

Performance Management Program

Performance appraisal at NIH and CIT is the process by which individual and organizational goals are communicated to employees; individual and organizational performance is evaluated, discussed with employees and as needed improvements proposed; and the results are used as a basis for appropriate personnel actions.

Personnel Security/Suitability Program

This policy defines the IT security/suitability evaluation and requirements for all Federal positions within the Center for Information Technology.
